Ford Modular - 4.6L / 5.4L
NOTE: The main bearings on the 4.6 and 5.4 Engines are very specific and are NOT interchangeable. There are 3 different kinds of main bearings for the 4.6 and 5.4. Please be sure you know which block you have before ordering your bearings. If you need help selecting the correct bearings for your application, please Contact Us.
1) Main Bearings that ONLY fit the 4.6 Romeo Iron Blocks
2) Main Bearings that ONLY fit the 4.6 and 5.4 Windsor Blocks (3 Piece Thrust Washer Set)
3) Main Bearings that ONLY fit the 4.6 Aluminum Blocks like the Teksid and Windsor Aluminum Plant (WAP) Blocks
All Rod Bearings are the same with the exception of bearings for Stroker Crankshafts using a Small Chevrolet 2.000" Journal. You must use a Small Block Chevrolet Rod Bearing, Part Number starting with CB745. These Rod Bearings can be found HERE.
